It's Major Championship week as the top golfers descend on Oak Hills for this week's PGA Championship.
If you're like me, you're going to be digging through every statistic and trend to try to figure out who's going to win the second major tournament of the season.
Well, I have another one for you and it may result in Dustin Johnson becoming the 2023 PGA Champion.

Heading into this year's edition of The Masters, everyone was wondering how LIV golfers would fare. Well, Brooks Koepka (and others) put the notion to rest that they wouldn't be able to keep up with the top guns from the PGA Tour.
Koepka held the 36-hole lead, but eventually fell to Jon Rahm. But, he still finished T2.
Everyone remembers that part of Koepka's story, but what they might not remember is one of the keys to his strong performance was that he entered the event in great form. He won the LIV golf event prior to the masters, LIV Golf Orlando.
So, maybe the key is betting on the golfer who won the latest LIV event? If that's the case, then we should all wager on Dustin Johnson.
DJ won last week's LIV Golf Invitational Tulsa, beating Branden Grace and Cameron Smith in a playoff with a 17-under final score.
He already has two major victories as well as two 2nd place finishes at PGA Championships. There's no reason he can't get it done this week and he seems to be peaking once again.
