Two young starters are on the mound on Friday night in Atlanta with the Atlanta Braves hosting the Seattle Mariners.
It's a Bryce vs. Bryce game! The Braves are starting Bryce Elder (3-0, 1.94 ERA) on his birthday against Mariners rookie Bryce Miller (2-0, 0.47 ERA).
This should be a fun matchup between two thriving pitchers, but oddsmakers aren't showing them a ton of respect, setting the total in this game at 8.5 with the UNDER sitting at even money.
Is it time we see regression from either Elder or Miller?
Here's a look at the odds for this game and my best bet:

It may be a trap at the current odds, but I love the UNDER in this matchup.
Yes, Atlanta is No. 2 in MLB in OPS this season, but the Mariners are 27th, so I'm not sold on both offenses getting to the starters for today's game.
Four of Elder's eight starts have had the total fall short of this number, and the Braves youngster has allowed three or fewer runs in seven of his eight outings this season.
Meanwhile, Miller has been lights out in three Major League starts, allowing just seven hits and one earned run in 19.0 innings of work.
Things should get even better for Seattle when it turns things over to the bullpen, as the Mariners are No. 1 in MLB in bullpen ERA (2.95) this season.
Unless one of these starters turns in a dud, the UNDER is a terrific value on Friday.
