Dillon Danis claims Logan Paul edited clip of him stuttering during face off
Dillon Danis claims Logan Paul edited clip of him stuttering during face off
Dillon Danis has claimed that a viral clip of him stuttering during a sit-down face-off with Logan Paul was edited by the infamous YouTuber to make him look bad. The two controversial personalities are squaring off in the boxing ring on October 14th in Manchester's AO arena but before that spoke to each other face-to-face for DAZN which is yet to be released in its entirety. In a clip that Paul released on his X/Twitter account, the WWE wrestler mocks the MMA fighter who struggles to get his words out during the heated confrontation. The footage shows Paul calling out Danis for "sending him so many messages" which Danis struggles to find the words to reply with. Paul immediately jumps on this telling his opponent that he sounds like he's "got Conor McGregor's n**sack in his mouth." He adds that watching him "stumble your way through these sentences is painful" before yelling "get this man a glass of water." The clip doesn't show any of Danis's replies to Paul but he has since claimed that the footage is edited. The 30-year-old wrote on X/Twitter: "This was completely edited by him to look this way. Just wait until the full thing comes out; classic Logan Paul. I can't wait for everyone to see how badly I roast him." This comes off the back of weeks of trolling by Danis towards Paul's fiance Nina Agdal, which has included Danis sharing clearly fake images and videos of the Danish model in intimate situations. However, the incessant trolling of Agdal has led to her filing a lawsuit against Danis on the grounds of the "humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm" that the posts have caused her. Harry Kane admits it ‘hurt’ watching England peers win titles while Tottenham toiled
Harry Kane admits it ‘hurt’ watching England peers win titles while Tottenham toiled
Harry Kane said that it “hurt” to watch his England teammates winning titles and going the distance in the Champions League, as he insists the Premier League goalscoring record was never a motivation. The new Bayern Munich signing said that the fact that it was “the one thing missing” from his career hung over him, and that was ultimately why he left Tottenham Hotspur. Kane said he is enjoying the pressure of having to win every Bundesliga match convincingly, compared to how two Spurs games without winning “wasn’t a disaster”. “As a competitor, when the boys are playing the Champions League and I am just sitting at home watching it, I would be lying if I said there wasn’t a part of me that hurt,” Kane said, as Kyle Walker’s incredible medal record was put to him. “Of course, I want them to do well - Kyle and all those guys to win when they are in competitions I am not in - but a part of me wants to have those experiences. With the other players in the team having done that, I am not sure jealous is the right word, but it does motivate me to go on and try to push myself towards some of those trophies the guys have got.” He also stressed the Premier League record never factored into his thinking. “I think there was a lot of talk about it and the fact I was getting closer to it but I have never been anybody who has chased individual honours ahead of team awards. “I have said before in interviews, ultimately it comes down to me to see how good I can be and I felt like I had to be playing Champions League football and competing for titles each year. Bayern Munich definitely gives me that. “The record of course would be amazing and it might be amazing if one day I do end up breaking it. But it is not why I play football and my move shows that.” Kane has already been struck by how exacting it is at Bayern, something he relishes. “It’s definitely a different pressure compared to what I felt at Spurs. Of course we wanted to win things at Spurs but if you went a couple of games without winning then it wasn’t a disaster. The feeling at Bayern is that you have to win every game. We won the first two games 4-0 and 3-1 and there was still talk about not being too happy about the way we played. That’s part and parcel of being at one of the biggest clubs in the world. But we’ve had a good start and I’m enjoying feeling those different emotions and that’s part of the reason that I wanted to go. And we start the Champions League campaign when we get back, which they expect to win – or have a good chance of winning. So you’re going into those games with maybe a different feeling to what I’ve had in the past.” Kane meanwhile said it had been pointed out to him how the 2024 Champions League final is at Wembley, that he could potentially win with his German club, and that the Euro 2024 final is in Berlin that he could win with England. “Yes! I have been told about the Champions League final in Wembley, for sure. I know the Euros are in Germany next summer so if there’s someone out there writing a movie, I will try and do my best to make it happen! It’s hard. There’s so much time to go I don’t want to think about it too much, but if it did happen it would be incredible.”

Man Utd winger Antony appears on Brazilian TV to deny assault allegations
Man Utd winger Antony appears on Brazilian TV to deny assault allegations
Manchester United winger Antony has spoken on Brazilian television denying allegations made against him of violence towards women. The 23-year-old earlier this week was dropped from the Brazil squad after accusations of physical aggression on a number of occasions since January towards his former girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin, which are being investigated by police and which he denies. Since then, Brazilian newspaper Extra has reported that influencer and law student Rayssa de Freitas in May 2022 filed a police report against Antony alleging she sustained injuries in an incident involving the player and another woman after a night out in Sao Paulo. Meanwhile, banker Ingrid Lana told Brazil’s RecordTV that in an incident at Antony’s home in Manchester in October 2022 he “pushed me against the wall, and I hit my head”. Antony on Monday had issued a statement on Instagram in which he described Cavallin’s claims as “false”, and speaking on Friday on Brazilian network SBT, the forward said: “I have never and I never will (attack a woman)”. He added: “I am 100 per cent sure that I have never touched a woman. And I will come with the proof. People will see the truth.” His club on Wednesday released a statement regarding the Cavallin claims that said: “Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the police are conducting enquiries. “Pending further information, the club will be making no further comments. As a club, we are taking this matter seriously, with consideration of the impact these allegations and subsequent reporting will have on survivors of abuse.” United, who have not said whether Antony remains available for selection, had no comment to make when contacted by the PA news agency regarding the subsequent accusations against him that emerged. In an interview with Brazilian website UOL – which also published photographs and screenshots of messages between the pair – Cavallin claimed she was attacked by Antony “with a headbutt” in a Manchester hotel room on January 15, leaving her with a cut head which needed treatment from a doctor. Cavallin also alleged she was punched in the chest by Antony, which she claimed caused damage to a silicone breast implant which required corrective surgery back in Brazil. Another alleged incident is claimed to have taken place at a house on May 8, with Cavallin saying she suffered a cut finger while trying to protect herself, accusing Antony of throwing a glass cup towards her as well as then taking her passport. Cavallin is said to have filed a report to Sao Paulo Civil Police concerning allegations of physical and verbal abuse by Antony while on holiday in Brazil during June 2022, when she was pregnant, as well as making a separate complaint to Greater Manchester Police. In his Instagram post on Monday, Antony, who signed for United from Ajax in an £85.5million deal in September 2022, wrote: “From the beginning I have treated this matter with seriousness and respect, providing the necessary clarifications before the police authority. “However, I can calmly state that the accusations are false and that the evidence already produced and the other evidence that will be produced demonstrate that I am innocent of the accusations made. “My relationship with Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal insults from both sides, but I never committed any physical aggression. “Therefore, I come to vehemently deny the accusations made and inform you that I remain at the entire disposal of the Brazilian authorities to clarify whatever is necessary. “I trust that the ongoing police investigations will demonstrate the truth about my innocence.” Read More Charity boss speaks out over ‘traumatic’ encounter with royal aide Ukraine war’s heaviest fight rages in east - follow live Sir Mo Farah insists he is solely focused on final race at Great North Run Wales face familiar foes Fiji – 5 talking points before Rugby World Cup clash US Open wrap: 2021 victor Daniil Medvedev powers past Carlos Alcaraz

Sidemen charity match 2023: Time, location and lineups
The Sidemen are back with another massive game for charity this year, and it’s set to be bigger than ever before. The collective have hosted a match to raise money for a good cause since back in 2016, and last year’s event proved to be one of the most entertaining moments in the YouTube calendar. The game was hosted at Charlton Athletic's The Valley. It saw The Sidemen beat the YouTube Allstars 8-7, with the event raising an incredible £2m for charity. This year, things are going up a notch – here’s everything you need to know. When is the 2023 Sidemen charity match? This year’s Sidemen match will take place on Saturday, September 9. The kick-off time is 3pm. Where is it being held? The 2023 match will take place at 62,500-capacity London Stadium in Stratford, London. Given the success of last year, it’s not surprising to see the event take place in a bigger venue. Graham Gilmore, CEO of London Stadium, said after the venue was announced: “This event goes from strength to strength, with the move to London Stadium demonstrating the success The Sidemen have built over recent years, not only in bringing so many great names together, but raising money for important charities too. "In addition, we will be delighted to welcome the huge global audience on streaming and digital channels, who will be joining the 60k plus fans in the Stadium!” Who is playing this year? The official line-up has now been announced, and some of the biggest names on YouTube will be taking part. As ever, the YouTube Allstars will likely be made up of some of the most popular names on the platform and it while it had previously been confirmed that MrBeast will play, the full list has now been revealed. Unfortunately, no tickets are available after all 62,000 tickets sold in less than 90 minutes after going on sale earlier this year. How can I watch? The game was streamed for free via The Sidemen's YouTube channel last year, and viewers will be able to watch the action on the channel again on Saturday set to start around 2:10 pm with a 3pm kick-off. Which charities are being supported? Charities being supported this year include Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Teenage Cancer Trust and Rays of Sunshine. "This is a major milestone for us," Zerkaa said. "When we first set up this event back in 2016, we never thought we'd be playing in a stadium of over 62,000 people. "Not only are we able to give back to our loyal fans, but being able to raise further funds for charities that are so close to our hearts give us a lot to be proud and thankful for. We can't wait to see all of you in September." Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy.
