Esme Morgan, 22, describes herself as “calm” and “assured” on the pitch. It’s no wonder. The Sheffield-born defender started her youth career with Manchester City in 2015 but her love for football first began aged just three. Goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck, 23, started her career at her girlhood club Sheffield United before leaving to join Manchester City at the young age of 15.
