The Clippers have jumped out to a 2-1 record in 2023 NBA Summer League behind two straight upset wins against the likes of the Grizzlies and Kings, and now face a Sixers team that has been on the wrong side of some tough results.
The Sixers have been active this summer, playing in Utah and now Las Vegas with exciting prospects like Terquavion Smith and Jaden Springer, but the team is 1-2 in Las Vegas after losing to the Hawks by one on Thursday.
After being underdogs in the first three games at Summer League, the Clippers are favored for the first time. Is that justified?

Clippers vs. Sixers prediction and pick
While the Clippers have the better record, I'm not going to overreact to the results and upgrade the team all that much. LA has won with defense, limiting its last two foes to 74 and 70 points, respectively, but the Sixers have the guard play that resembles the team's first opponent, the Jazz.
Utah hung 105 points on the Clippers in the first game of Summer League, and I believe Philly can push the pace as well. Smith has anchored a Sixers offense that has scored 98 or more in all three games. While there is concern around the team recovering after playing on the second night of a back-to-back, I believe that the pace will be dictated by the Sixers.
I'd wait for confirmation that Philadelphia is playing key plays like Smith and Springer, but I do believe the Sixers have made it clear it's going to play fast, leading me to the over.
PICK: OVER 184.5
