Today's USMNT rumors include AS Monaco still being in the hunt to sign Folarin Balogun. Malik Tillman is set to join PSV Eindhoven and Tanner Tessmann could be on his way to Lazio.
USMNT rumors: Folarin Balogun to AS Monaco
AS Monaco has already had a bid rejected by Arsenal for Folarin Balogun. However, they are still pursuing the player despite the Gunners' hefty price demands. Fabrizio Romano has revealed that "Monaco want to try and big again for Folarin Balogun after initial proposal made on Monday, he's top target to replace Breel Embolo who broke his ACL."
Balogun has also been linked with Inter Milan and going by the player's Instagram activity he appears very interested in joining the Nerazzurri. He posted a highlights video of the Brazilian Ronaldo in action for Inter and wished Marcus Thuram -who currently plays for the side- a Happy Birthday.
Joining Inter would be the favoured option for Balogun as they are one of the biggest clubs in the World and are a Champions League club. Monaco cannot offer any form of European soccer but the player knows Ligue 1 from his time at Stade de Reims. Continuing in France could be very good for the USMNT forward's development.
USMNT rumors: Malik Tillman to PSV Eindhoven
Malik Tillman had a successful spell at Scottish club Rangers last season and the player is set to be sent out on loan again for the upcoming campaign.
According to Kerry Has, "Tillman has extended his Bayern Munich contract until 2026 and joins PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan with an option to buy for around €15m! It's a done deal, both clubs have reached an agreement."
PSV won the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against SK Sturm Graz 4-1 yesterday. So Tillman could be about to play in European soccer's premier competition alongside fellow American Ricardo Pepi.
USMNT rumors: Tanner Tessmann to Lazio
Tanner Tessmann is currently playing for Serie B side Venezia. However, the USMNT midfielder could be on his way to Italian soccer's first division. According to Sport Italia, Lazio is considering signing Tessmann to strengthen their midfield.
Lazio finished second in Serie A last season and will be in the Champions League for the upcoming campaign. This could be a great opportunity for Tessmann to make his mark in one of Europe's best leagues.
