BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: USA celebrated its 25th gymnastics day on September 16. Several American gymnasts including LSU star, Olivia Dunne aka Livvy took to social media to celebrate the day.
In her Instagram story, Dunne displayed her impeccable performance on the uneven bars, while showcasing her flexibility in two clean swings and one flawless mid-air flip.
Olivia Dunne shares her best memories on 'National Gymnast Day'
By utilizing monetary partnerships this year, UCLA sophomore Jordan Chiles and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne enhanced their on-mats pace.
In addition, Sunisa Lee, the former all-around champion, made news for challenging Simone Biles for the championship in national competitions.
The three gymnasts, who were brought together by their shared sport, each shared a memorable gymnastics memory.
The collage picture of Dunne also included four images featuring her LSU Tigers teammates and her mid-air maneuver photo. Livvy captioned the photo, “happy gymnastics day” with a red heart emoji.
Dunne is active on social media portals, where she garnered millions of followers. All thanks to her cheerful personality and outspoken nature.
What made Olivia Dunne join gymnastics?
Dunne had stated on her website that she intended to pursue gymnastics solely to wear a glittering pink leotard.
She eventually fell in love with the sport and became an elite gymnast at the age of eleven, becoming the country's youngest Junior International Elite qualifier.
In her Snapchat story, earlier this year TikTok star Dunne posted a video of her wonderful mother Katherine Dunne.
The handstand Katherine was performing was flawless. Dunne couldn't help but compliment Katherine's skills, complimenting her pointed feet and all, and captioning the picture with the ironic phrase "I got it from my momma."
The presence of Julianna, or Julz Dunne, Livvy's sister, helped their mother. Former gymnast Katherine has been Dunne's biggest supporter, throughout her endeavours.
