Manchester United have released a new kit range that pays tribute to its fan base from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
United and kit collaborators adidas celebrate terrace wear from the iconic era, with a new hoodie, t-shirts and bench jackets available.
The Man Utd x Originals third jersey is a reissue of the kit worn from 1988 and 1990 which is synonymous with United's rise while becoming the most successful club in England and was seen as something of a rarity in kit catalogues.
The shirt includes an engineered 'MUFC' jacquard material and a ribbed collar complemented by red and black colouring.
The adidas and club logo as well as the Sharp sponsorship have all been raised and matching shorts with 'MUFC' inscribed down the sides.
A bench jacket similar to one legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson donned on the touchline has also been released, with adidas revealing each part of the collection is a tribute to the former threads. There are items pieces in the collection in total.
United were a struggling force in the late '80s and Ferguson was expected to be sacked if they were beaten by Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final. United won the replay 1-0 to kick-start an era of success at Old Trafford.
