The English Premier League is back in our lives and there were some fantastic showdowns this weekend. Easily one of the best games had to be the one between Liverpool FC and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
This contest was thrilling from start to finish, but the points were shared at The Bridge. In the first half, Luis Diaz opened the scoring with a fantastic finish to give the Reds the lead. Not long after, though, Axel Disasi evened things up at 1-1.
There was plenty of drama in the second half, with the two teams hoping to try and come away with the three points. In the end, though, Liverpool and Chelsea weren't able to find the back of the net, so each club started the season with a point.
There were plenty of positives on both sides, but Chelsea fans are surely celebrating the news that Moises Caicedo will be joining the team too.
