LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lewis Hamilton has set his attention back towards Shakira again amid rumors that he is dating a Brazilian model. According to Spanish journalist Jordi Martin who claims to be a friend of Shakira, the popular race car driver, and the Colombian singer are planning a "romantic holiday" in the Caribbean together, while fuelling their romantic involvement.
"Hamilton and Shakira are planning to go on holiday together and I already know the destination," he said according to Daily Mail. "It's a Caribbean country, a short trip of about an hour. I have people who are close to Shakira and they have been meeting this week and she has told them that she is excited and happy." The journalist also claimed that the duo is "taking things slow" despite the speculation about their relationship.
Shakira and Hamilton have not planned any trip, claims source
However, as per the reports of the outlet, a source claimed that Martin's claims have no grounds and that the pair are just friends and have not planned any trips. This new development comes just days after fans started to claim that the 38-year-old Brit has been dating Brazilian model Juliana Nalú after they were spotted at the same restaurant. The 24-year-old who previously dated the former spouse of Kim Kardashian, was spotted at the Grand Prix Paddock in Miami and was understood to be with Hamilton at California's Coachella Music and Arts Festival in May.
Shakira previously dined out with Hamilton
The pair dined out in Miami last month amid rumors that the 'Waka Waka' singer found her new love in Tom Cruise. The Queen of Latin music shifted to Florida with her two children following her divorce with Spanish footballer and former FC Barcelona star, Gerard Pique last June. The bitter separation took place amid allegations that Pique cheated on her with the woman he ended up dating after the split, 24-year-old, Clara Chia Marti.
Lewis later picked up the Colombian sensation on a $230,000-speed boat, outside her $20 million waterfront mansion which is situated in Biscayne Bay. As the mother-of-two met up with the seven-time World Drivers' Championship winner, he extended his hand out to her as she climbed aboard, the outlet reported. The pair was accompanied by American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, 33, who is one of Hamilton's closest friends. The Queen of Latin Music displayed her curves in a purple fringed bikini top and matching shorts. A source told People at the time, "They're spending time together and in the 'getting to know you' stage. It's fun and flirty."
