Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz: Date, time, streaming options and other details revealed

CLEVELAND, OHIO: Jake Paul will finally step into the ring against Nate Diaz after what feels like an eternity of trash talk and social media battles. The two will face each other in a fight in Dallas, Texas,

'The Problem Child' will fight the former winner of The Ultimate Fighter 5, in what will surely be one of the biggest fights of the boxing year, as he tries to recover from his first professional defeat.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz: All you need to know

At the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, Jake Paul and Nate Diaz will face off in a professional boxing match on Saturday, August 5. The fight will be the main event of a program in which The Problem Child will compete in his eighth professional fight.

For Diaz, a former UFC favorite and mixed martial artist who ended his 34-fight career with the organization in September, it will be his first professional boxing match.

Jake Paul's next fight will only be available as a pay-per-view (PPV) event on DAZN. After ESPN+ aired Paul's fight against Tommy Fury earlier this year, the sports streaming service has agreed to acquire the rights to his next fight. Due to DAZN's PPV broadcast, Jake Paul's next fight will not be broadcast terrestrially, on cable or satellite in the United States.

The expanded fight program, which is anticipated to contain at least five additional fights, will also be covered by DAZN.

Jake Paul’s boxing record

In the lead-up to the 2018 fight between his brothers Logan Paul and KSI, Jake Paul began his boxing career with an amateur victory over fellow social media personality Deji Olatunji. However, he did not turn pro until early 2020.

There, he beat YouTuber Ali Eson Gib by technical knockout in January before impressively defeating Nate Robinson, three-time winner of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, in November of the same year.

The following April, Paul surprised Ben Askern, an ex-UFC star, with a technical knockout in the first round. Tyron Woodley was the next opponent, and Paul defeated him again in August and December to maintain his undefeated record.

Last October, Paul scored his best performance to date with a unanimous decision win over Anderson Silva to improve his record to 6-0, but in February, Paul lost to Tommy Fury for the first time in his professional career, losing by a split decision in Saudi Arabia.

The following fight for Jake Paul goes the full ten rounds, making it the longest in his professional career to date. The troubled kid's first two fights each went six rounds, but all of his later fights went eight rounds.
