Guardians’ Single-A team continues the trolling of Tim Anderson

The Guardians' Single-A team couldn't resist taking another swing at Tim Anderson. The trolling never stops.

White Sox's Tim Anderson will soon get a statue built in his honor in Cleveland. The fallen usually do.

In the aftermath of the shocking fist fight between Anderson and Guardians' Jose Ramirez, Cleveland isn't letting Anderson get off so easily. For starting the on-field brawl, Anderson just received a lengthy six game ban, the heaviest suspension of anyone involved. He'll have to contend with his future on the White Sox having incited one of the most unhinged moments in MLB history, and in the meantime, the Guardians are keeping the blows coming.

Cleveland's Single-A team, the Lake County Captains, took their own calculated swing at Anderson with a tweet that was half-promotion, half-Anderson burn.

Lake County has officially declared this week as Jose Ramirez appreciation week, a week that celebrates Ramirez's ability to throw hands and immortalizes him for sending Anderson to sleep.

This week, all fans named "Tim" will get a free ticket… to sit down on the grass. Multiple games will be hosted including a Home Run Punch Derby and a Punch Out Competition in the 80's Arcade. Classy.

Guardians' Single-A team mocks Tim Anderson

The link in the tweet takes the user to Lake County's ticket website, where one can attend a Single-A game in the 2023 season. Will it have enough drama and adrenaline, though?

A moment of silence for Tim Anderson, who became the living, breathing proof of the statement: Don't start a fight you can't finish.

Anderson will never live down this moment and may be better off packing his bags and leaving the Windy City to start anew elsewhere. His rapid tweeting after the fight has concerning similarities to the erratic actions of dishonored ex-NFL player Antonio Brown, and one can only hope Anderson is getting the help he needs.

That help could be physical as much as it is mental. We're guessing Anderson will never step foot in Cleveland without looking over his shoulder again.
