Lando Norris has revealed he had a number of expensive items stolen in a robbery at a villa in Marbella. It is the second time the British Formula One star has been targeted by thieves after he was accosted by two men and had his Richard Mille designer watch stolen after the Euro 2020 final at Wembley. McLaren driver Norris, 23 was understood to be on holiday in the south of Spain for three days when the incident took place. Speaking to the PA news agency ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix, Norris said: “We were out for dinner and our place got robbed. “A mixture of many things were stolen. Some were expensive and some were not so expensive. It is still an ongoing conversation so I cannot say too much.” Norris was reported to be on holiday with a group of friends, including influencer Jennie Dimova. Dimova posted a video to her TikTok, saying: “If you are wondering why I look like that it is because our villa got robbed and everything I have ever owned – my clothes, my shoes, my bags, my jewellery – everything has been taken – and I am left with literally nothing. I cried for two hours but what can I do?” The popular Norris is only 11th in this season’s drivers’ championship having scored points at just three of the opening eight rounds in his under-performing McLaren machine. Jurgen Klopp has given Liverpool fans a very clear message on the Mohamed Salah transfer saga – and it’s safe to say they’re pretty pleased about it. The Egyptian forward has been the focus of much speculation recently following interest in Saudi Arabia. However, despite rumours that Saudi Arabia were preparing to put forward a huge bid to land his services, Klopp has declared that Liverpool would reject any offer for Salah. The manager insisted the 31-year-old is “100 per cent” committed to the club. It comes after Al-Ittihad renewed their interest in Salah. However, he has two years left on the contract that made him the best-paid player in Liverpool’s history. Klopp said: “We don’t have an offer. Mo Salah is a Liverpool player and essential for everything we do. If there would be something the answer would be no. My life philosophy is I think about a problem when I have it and there is absolutely nothing at the moment.” Klopp also called on Fifa to ensure the Saudi transfer window, which remains open after the Premier League equivalent is closed, shuts at the same time as those in Europe. He added: “What makes it not possible to deal with is our transfer window closes and theirs stays open so how can we react? We had it in the past with Russia – they had a different transfer window – but that was not completely crazy money. “It is new, challenging for everybody and we have to learn to deal with it but the authorities should make clear that if you want to be part of the system then you do your business at the same time. I am pretty sure Fifa could do it like this if they want to.” Klopp’s comments have gone down a storm with Liverpool fans, with many sharing memes and reactions celebrating the statement. Kamaru Usman will face Khamzat Chimaev in the co-main event of UFC 294, after replacing Paulo Costa on 10 days’ notice. Usman, who reigned as welterweight champion from 2018 until 2022, will make his middleweight debut in the bout, which pits him against one of the most dominant prospects in mixed martial arts. Swedish-born Russian Chimaev is 12-0 as a professional with 11 stoppage wins. The match-up was confirmed on Wednesday (11 October), when Costa revealed that he would need two elbow surgeries this week, having already undergone one two weeks ago. As such, the Brazilian is out of UFC 294, which takes place in Abu Dhabi on 21 October. The 32-year-old’s withdrawal was the second by a Brazilian in the space of two days; on Tuesday (10 October), Charles Oliveira withdrew from the main event of UFC 294 due to a severe cut over his right eye. Oliveira was due to challenge Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title in a rematch – 12 months after the Russian submitted him in the same venue in Abu Dhabi. Alexander Volkanovski, who holds the featherweight title, is stepping in to replace Oliveira and contest his own rematch with Makhachev, who narrowly outpointed him to retain the lightweight belt in February. Usman, 36, last fought in March, suffering a decision loss to Leon Edwards while challenging for the welterweight title, which Edwards took from the Nigerian-American with a brutal head kick last August. Chimaev, 29, last fought in September 2022, submitting Kevin Holland in Round 1. Chimaev was originally set to face Nate Diaz on that occasion but missed weight, leading the card to be altered on short notice. Diaz instead fought and submitted Tony Ferguson in the main event. YouTuber AngryGinge has apologised after joining a “poverty” chant while attending a Manchester United game. The content creator has become a popular figure online over recent times and regularly hosts live streams based around football and gaming. He’s now responded after being criticised for singing along to a song during Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Everton over the weekend at Goodison Park. AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, was accused of “mocking poverty” after taking part in the ‘feed the scousers’ chant. Since the backlash, the streamer has posted a video apologising on Twitter/X, adding the caption: “Genuinely sorry for changing that chant. I didn’t think about what it meant, and as someone who comes from that background, I feel your anger and can only apologize. Genuinely am disappointed in myself and am very sorry.” He also said: “I’m so sorry I sang that chant. I just got caught up in the moment and didn’t even think what it actually meant,” he said. AngryGinge explained that he understood people's frustrations as he came from a background where food poverty was prevalent. “I’m so sorry I sang it, genuinely I’m so sorry if I’ve offended you. I myself have come from that background 100 per cent, I have come up on a council state, £1 microwave meals every f***ing night,” he explained. “I 100 per cent feel with you and sympathise with you. I’m so sorry I’ve said that. I genuinely meant nothing by it. I got caught up, I was singing the chants.” He went on to say: “I’m deeply deeply so sorry if I’ve offended. I’m so disappointed, to be honest. I’m just so apologetic, I understand your anger 100 per cent.
