Dallas Cowboys' Trevon Diggs caught liking very inappropriate tweet
Dallas Cowboys' Trevon Diggs caught liking very inappropriate tweet
NFL star Trevon Diggs has added his name to the long list of people who have been caught liking very NSFW post on Twitter. The Dallas Cowboys cornerback attracted the attention of Twitter users after checking out explicit content, and it’s got people asking whether Diggs actually realises people can see his likes. The 24-year-old liked a post which featured a woman wearing an adult sex toy. It featured the caption: “Like = you’d suck it.” It’s not clear whether or not the post was liked accidentally or deliberately. Either way, it’s fair to say his interaction with the post sparked a big reaction online. He’s not the first and he won’t be the last to like Samuel L Jackson and Ted Cruz to name a few have been caught liking explicit posts before, with Jackson caught in 2022 and Cruz in 2017. Diggs is one of the star names for the Cowboys, having signed a five-year extension worth up to $100 million. He’s a two-time Pro Bowler with 17 interceptions in his three NFL seasons. New British F1 team bid confirmed for 2026 season after major investment
British racing team Hitech Grand Prix have confirmed their bid to join the F1 grid for the 2026 season after announcing a major new investment deal. Hitech GP, who currently race in F2, F3 and F4, were reported to be one of a number of prospective new entries into Formula 1, alongside the likes of Andretti-Cadillac and Panthera Team Asia. Now, after announcing new investment with its parent company Hitech Global Holdings Limited selling a 25 per cent stake to Kazakh businessman Vladimir Kim, Hitech confirmed they have lodged a bid to the FIA to secure a spot in three years’ time. Hitech, based at Silverstone, stated in a press release that its F1 project was a “move that would complete its single-seater ladder and demonstrate that Hitech has all the right people, experience and resources to compete alongside the best teams in the world.” Kim, whose companies have previously sponsored Kazakh athletes such as champion boxer Gennadiy Golovkin, holds his main interests in the mining, banking and aviation sectors – with Hitech his first involvement in motorsport. “Motorsport has been a long-standing personal interest for me, and I am delighted to be entering into a partnership with an organisation that has enjoyed success in so many categories and has such ambitions for its future,” he said. “We have an established involvement with sport; however, this is our first global investment in motorsport. “Its dynamic appeal, growing exposure, business-to-business marketing opportunities and burgeoning fan base are aligned with my ambitions personally and commercially.” Hitech CEO Oliver Oakes added: “I am delighted to welcome Vladimir Kim to the Hitech group. “During our discussions we found many natural synergies and I know that his support will be invaluable as we seek to build on Hitech’s success and work towards achieving its broader ambitions over the years to come.” Audi are already confirmed to be joining the grid in 2026, taking over from the Sauber works team currently branded as Alfa Romeo, and announced their first test driver last week. Erik ten Hag backs Man Utd to win FA Cup and end neighbours City’s treble charge
Erik ten Hag backs Man Utd to win FA Cup and end neighbours City’s treble charge
Erik ten Hag told the raucous Old Trafford faithful that Manchester United have a “really good chance” of winning the FA Cup and ending Manchester City’s treble charge. Having wrapped up Champions League qualification by beating Chelsea on Thursday, the Red Devils sealed third spot in the Premier League on the final day of the campaign. United bounced back from Kenny Tete’s early header as David De Gea saved Aleksandar Mitrovic’s penalty before Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes sealed a 2-1 comeback win against Fulham. The players were given a fantastic reception at full-time and, after presenting De Gea with the Golden Glove trophy, boss Ten Hag made an impassioned speech to fans. “First of all, I want to say thank you to our players,” he told the stadium. “I think they played a brilliant season. “They are also supported by the staff. I want to say thank you to the staff. “Secondly, I want to thank you (the fans) all. We fought really strong during the season at Old Trafford and away. “I want to thank you for the season and your contribution backing us, for the support – it was great, so thank you. “But there is still one game to go and I am sure that these players will give everything to beat Manchester City next week. “If you have our back, I’m sure we have a really good chance to take the cup back to Old Trafford.” Those comments were met by a huge roar that will increase further still if Ten Hag’s men can beat City at Wembley next Saturday and add the FA Cup to February’s Carabao Cup success. “You have always a chance in football,” Ten Hag said in the post-match press conference. “The history shows we beat them in January but I think Man United in the last couple of years beat City many times. “So, these players know when they play at their levels that they can compete. “It’s obvious we play against probably – at this moment – the best team, but still there is a chance and we have to go for the chance and we have to give everything. “We can’t be after the game finding excuses for ourselves. I’m sure we will play a good game on Saturday.” Ten Hag knows United have to step up after making a sloppy start against Fulham, saying De Gea’s penalty save woke them up. The United boss again reiterated that he expected the long-serving Spain goalkeeper to extend his contract beyond the end of the season, before seemingly taking a dig at the owners’ backing. Fans called for the Glazers to leave throughout – as they always do – and Ten Hag said he did not get investment like their top-four rivals in January. The United boss, who was only able to make loan moves for Jack Butland, Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabitzer, said: “The club knows if you want to play top four, compete for trophies in this tough league, then you have to invest. “Otherwise you don’t have a chance because other clubs will do. “We have seen it in the winter that all the clubs around us made huge investments. We didn’t and still we made it, so I’m really happy and proud of my team.” As for Fulham, they displayed heart at Old Trafford at the end of an impressive season that saw them finish 10th after promotion from the Championship. Head coach Marco Silva said: “We had very good moments during the game. “Unfortunately for us, not really consistent during all the match but the way we started we were beginning to control the game. “We were leading the score and I think it was well deserved because we showed the composure and quality to play, to control most of the moments. “Of course we had the chance to make it 2-0 and give us even more confidence and create a much-more difficult score for them. “De Gea saved and of course it was a moment that boosted them. You could feel is straight away in the stadium. “These are the moments we have to show our maturity, to show more consistency.” Read More Charity boss speaks out over ‘traumatic’ encounter with royal aide Ukraine war’s heaviest fight rages in east - follow live Frank Lampard believes Chelsea standards have slipped as cheerless campaign ends Liverpool will be Premier League contenders again next season – Jurgen Klopp Roy Hodgson: For Crystal Palace to finish much higher would be hell of an ask

Tottenham star reveals secret to upturn in form after summer transfer
Tottenham star reveals secret to upturn in form after summer transfer
Martha Thomas says she has rediscovered her smile on the pitch following her summer switch to Tottenham from Manchester United and is thriving on the belief being shown in her at her new club. The Scotland forward concluded a two-year stay with United after a 2022-23 season in which she made 20 Women’s Super League appearances for Marc Skinner’s side but only one start within that, scoring one goal. Moving on to Robert Vilahamn’s Spurs, Thomas – starting at centre-forward – went on to net six times in the team’s first four league games this term to top the early Golden Boot standings, and was named Barclays Player of the Month for October. Asked if she had surprised herself at all with her form, the 27-year-old told the PA news agency: “No, I think I’ve always had the belief in myself – it’s just having people around me that sort of believe in that as well.” Regarding last season, Thomas said: “Personally, it was a really tough season for me, off the pitch, on the pitch, mentally, physically. I felt quite drained. “It was hard because the team was doing quite well, so I was happy for the girls around me. But when it came to the summer, I knew what the best decision for me would be. “I was playing in a team sometimes not even in my actual position that I feel I’m best at. So it was definitely the right time for me to step away, because I knew they weren’t getting the best out of me and I wasn’t getting the best out of myself there. It no longer felt like the right fit. “There was definitely times throughout the season where I did feel like I deserved that chance and sort of wasn’t given it, or was given it but then not given long enough to show it. “That’s just the way it goes. United had their best finish (second), so it’s sort of hard to really argue – but at the same time I felt like I needed and deserved more, so it was the right time for me to get that somewhere else. “I wasn’t enjoying my football. I needed just to enjoy it again, and I needed to find my smile again on the pitch.” She added: “I didn’t feel like I came here with a point to prove, I just feel like it’s worked out that way because I’m playing football with a smile, that’s when I play my best, and you’re just now seeing what I’m actually capable of doing. “If I’m happy and playing in a team where I feel valued and they’ve got that belief, then I’m going to play my best and the goals are going to come. “I think I’ve settled in really well here, I think the style Robert wants to play and the team we have complement me quite well.” While Thomas has been on her hot streak, Tottenham striker Bethany England, who had a major impact for them last term after joining in January, has been recovering from hip surgery. Vilahamn, as well as stressing his belief Thomas can win the Golden Boot this season, has said he is confident he will find a way for the two to play together, something Thomas says she can see herself doing, adding: “I think we would complement each other really well.” Having finished ninth last season, then appointing Vilahamn in July, Tottenham are currently in the Champions League places, lying third as one of four teams with 10 points from five games, three behind leaders Chelsea. Last Sunday’s 1-1 home draw with Everton followed a run of three successive wins, and Thomas said: “For us to be really gutted with that draw shows what kind of finish we’re looking for. We’re looking to climb as high as we can. “The top three, four teams have had that consistency over the past however many seasons and that’s what other clubs need. But I think with the start you’ve already seen, it wouldn’t be surprising to me to see another team break into that – and we can hope it’s us.” Tottenham host Liverpool – another side on 10 points – on Sunday.
