Fever vs. Aces prediction and odds for Saturday, June 24 (Trust Las Vegas at home)

The Las Vegas Aces are 11-1 in the 2023 season, and they're looking to add to that record when they host the Indiana Fever on Saturday.

Las Vegas has been absolutely dominant at home, winning every home game by at least 13 points. They're favored by 15.5 points in this game against the Fever and No. 1 overall pick Aliyah Boston, and that line isn't a crazy overreaction.

For example, Las Vegas was favored by 19.5 points on the road in its last game and still covered the spread.

With A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum and company finding a groove this season, how should we bet on this matchup?

Fever vs. Aces odds, spread and total

Fever vs. Aces prediction and pick

I've actually been impressed with the Fever, who are 5-7 this season and looking like a significantly better team than the one that earned the No. 1 pick last season.

However, the Achilles heel for the Fever has been their defense, which is 10th in the WNBA this season. That's going to make things extremely tough against an Aces team that has four players averaging double-digit points per game (Jacki Young, Chelsea Gray, Wilson, Plum).

That's not even mentioning WNBA legend Candace Parker.

The Aces are No. 1 in the league in offensive rating, No. 2 in defensive rating, No. 2 in 3-point percentage and No. 1 in net rating with an insane +20.2 rating this season.

No matter how you feel about Indiana, this team just isn't on the same level as Las Vegas. The Fever have been good on the road (4-3), but Vegas is a different beast at home.

The team has a net rating of 32.2 at home – an absurd stat. The second best home team in the WNBA? New York with a net rating of 9.9.

This is Vegas or nothing for me.
