The 2024 Olympic US track and field trials will be held in Eugene, Oregon next June, US sports chiefs confirmed on Thursday.
A statement from United States Track and Field (USATF) and the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) said Hayward Field would host the trials from June 21-30.
The venue has staged the US Olympic track and field trials for every Olympics since 2008, and is widely regarded as the premier athletics arena in the United States.
Hayward Field hosted last year's pandemic-delayed World Championships after being given a $270 million redevelopment, and last weekend hosted the finale to the Diamond League season.
"As we look forward to Paris 2024, we're delighted to return to Eugene for the US Olympic Trials," USATF chief executive Max Siegel said in a statement.
It is the eighth time that Hayward Field has hosted the Olympic trials since 1972.
The popular venue has become synonymous with world record performances, with two broken last weekend during the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League final.
