The Philadelphia Eagles have done plenty of talking despite losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl last February. Brandon Graham took a shot at Patrick Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, in last season's Super Bowl. Y'all remember this, correct?

In that game, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweaked his ankle, but was able to stay in the game. Philly had a vaunted pass rush last season, headlined by the likes of Fletcher Cox and Graham, among others. Still, Graham isn't so sure Mahomes was actually injured.

"[Mahomes] went in there on the sideline [and] he's looking like he's hurt. Get him, we gotta get to him. And he came out, you can tell how tough he is but that boy acted good. He sure put that face up like —[he was hurting]," Graham said on the Sports Take Podcast with Derrick Gunn and Rob Ellis.

Graham went on to say that the Chiefs offensive line was "blessed" by the Super Bowl turf, which sounds more like poor sportsmanship than anything else.

"You need that traction to be able to get off the block and we was slipping a lot," Graham told Gunn. "I don't make excuses. I just know that that's what we was talking about, or what was being talked about. It was us just trying to get out of our own head a little bit, too."

Yet, in the very next breath, Graham scolded the 49ers for being "bitter" in the aftermath of their NFC Championship Game loss. In that game, San Francisco QB Brock Purdy was barely able to throw the football, and had to undergo offseason surgery. Playing without the most important position on the field, the 49ers didn't stand much of a chance.

"I know the 49ers just going through it. That's not the way to handle it because you look like your just bitter. I know when do lose, it hurts, but you definitely gotta control those emotions every day when you're dealing with this job because people gonna take it and run with it," Graham said.

That doesn't exactly add up. Graham, it would seem, is in a similar predicament to the organization he's spent so much time talking down to.
