Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders is all about Andy Dalton, like, for real, for real!

Find someone who loves you like Miles Sanders loves his new teammate, Andy Dalton.

They haven't even played a game together yet as Carolina Panthers teammates, but Sanders wants everyone to know how much he appreciates The Red Rifle. Dalton may only be keeping the seat warm until Bryce Young eventually usurps him on the quarterbacking depth chart, but just know that Sanders gets the big picture. He sees all that is in front of the Panthers going forward.

Apparently, Sanders thinks Dalton is a hall of famer. He said so on the Mac and Bone podcast.

Dalton will never get the credit he deserves, but he is never going to end up in Canton as a player.

Miles Sanders thinks Carolina Panthers teammate Andy Dalton is a hall of famer

Over the last few years, we have largely forgotten just how good Dalton was during his nine-year run with the Cincinnati Bengals. With draft classmate A.J. Green, Dalton led the Bengals to five-straight AFC playoff appearances. Did they win a postseason game? No, but that man was every bit a franchise quarterback for a team in need of one. Unfortunately, Joe Burrow is Joe Burrow…

In time, Young will overtake Dalton in Charlotte. It may hurt him deep down inside, but this is what Dalton is at this point of his career. I've tried to figure out who his generational equivalent is. I would say he's probably the millennial version of Mark Brunell. People forget just how incredible he was as the Jacksonville Jaguars' franchise quarterback in the mid-to-late 1990s. He was great!

Overall, I appreciate Sanders' enthusiasm when it comes to Dalton. However, if Dalton is going into the hall of fame, superior quarterbacking piers such as Eli Manning, Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan all get in over him. They all will get in one day; we know this to be true.

Also, before Dalton gets a bronze bust, let's get a pair of two former Bengals quarterbacks who deserve it more in Boomer Esiason and especially, Ken Anderson, one of the most disgusting snubs from Canton to date. Fix this, y'all!

Carolina can win a lot of games with Dalton under center, but he is not a hall of fame quarterback.
