The LPGA heads to Liberty National in New Jersey for this week's Mizuho Americas Open.
With an event that features some of the top women golfers in the world, the headlines are dominated by someone who will be making their professional debut. That golfer is Rose Zhang, a product of Stanford golf, who is one of the most highly touted prospects in golf's recent history.
Zhang is a two time NCAA champion and also won this year's coveted Augusta national Women's Amateur.
Not only that, but she has won 10 of the last 12 amateur events that she has competed in.
She's also not a complete stranger to competing in professional tournament. She has competed in a handful of majors as an amateur, with the latest resulting in a 28th place finish at last year's AIG Women's Open in Scotland.
With her amateur career now behind her after last week's NCAA Championship, she announced that she'll immediately be turning pro. Her first event as a professional on the LPGA will be this week's Mizuho Americas Open.
Of course, with my history as a bettor, I rushed to the sportsbooks to find out how I can bet on at in professional debut.
I would suggest not to wait to bet on her at the professional level. She has the game to compete with the best of the best as soon as this week. After all, remember the last Stanford golfer who turned professional after a highly touted amateur career? Someone by the name Eldrick "Tiger" Woods.
Let's take a look at her available betting odds at Liberty National.
